Illustration on the Silk & Spice bottle is a reintrepretation of na original XV century map from the Age of Recovery. The map details the largest bay in the world, the Bay of Bengal, which represents Asia’s gateway and separates southern and eastern Asia. The Portuguese coat of arms is artfully depicted to symbolize the bravery of these maritime explorers. And, of course, Vasco da Gama’s caravel is paramount, his voyage having helped shape the history of the world.
Our line notes:
A Intense ruby colored red wine blend, characterized by intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit, such as blackberries and ripe plum. The spicy character if this wine comes from the vanilla, black pepper and pink peppercorn combined with hints mocha. A full-bodied wine with a balanced taste, very soft tannins and a long and balanced finish.
