Founded in London in 1737 by William Offley, initially as wine merchants, Offley was soon exporting wines and later began to produce its own Porto Wine. The brand gained international recognition as a creator of premium quality wines. Over the years, Offley has invested in the production of its wines, installed and replanted landmark vineyards, built and maintained its fantastic cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and expanded the brand’s distribution.

Our line notes:

Offley Porto White has a yellow-straw hue and an intense aroma dominated by floral, apricot and peach, marmalade and nutty notes. The ageing in oak wood has ennobled it, increasing its richness and complexity. In the mouth, the balance between acidity and sweetness stands out, culminating in a lingering and elegant finish.
Offley Porto Ruby has an and well defined red-ruby hue and lively aroma reminiscent of red fruit with some more complex notes arising from its ageing in oak wood. In the mouth, it has a fine balance between sweetness and mature tannins, it is well structured and it has a long finish. Its elegance and liveliness make it the ideal option for those who enjoy young and accessible Porto Wines.
Offley Tawny with a red-tawny hue, typical of an older wine, Offley Porto Tawny has a delicate aroma reminiscent of ripe red fruit and enhanced by nutty notes that provide it with an added complexity. In the mouth, there is a fine balance between soft tannins and natural sweetness which combine harmoniously towards an elegant and fine finish.
Offley Porto Rosé has a light pink hue, with shades of violet, and a fine bouquet of tropical fruits and exotic wood. In the mouth is quite balanced and fresh, with a flavor of tropical fruits and a long and elegant finish.
Offley B. Forrester 10 YO – Brick – colored, with golden nuances. Its elegant and complex bouquet is characterized by flavors of ripe fruit, compotes and nuts, with hints of vanilla, raisins and jelly. In the palate, the balance between the richness of the grapes’ natural sugars and its tannins give the wine a fine structure and a delicate, yet complex finish.
Offley LBV – Deep ruby color. Intense and complex bouquet, with hints of black & red fruits, resin, tobacco box, slightly floral and balsamic. On the palate, it has firm tannins, good volume, balanced acidity, with hints of red fruits, spices, and a long and harmonious finish.
