Gazela appeared in 1984 and was introduced to the market as “Gazela, a pedigree Vinho Verde”, seeking to reinforce values of freshness and lightness, especially the care taken in producing it and the heritage of its origins.
Our line notes:
Gazela Vinho Verde White – Gazela has a very light yellow citrine colour, with a slight fizz that enhances its bouquet, flavours and freshness. Aromatic and engaging, Gazela adds to its citrine and tropical fruit notes a lively and stimulating acidity, very well balanced by a slight touch of sugar. The end product is a simple, versatile and very attractive wine.
Gazela Vinho Verde Ros – Raspberry pink in colour, with a slight prickle of fizz that emphasises its bouquet of red fruits (strawberries) and tropical fruits (banana). It the mouth it is lively and fresh, intense in flavour and well balanced, the overall impression being of lightness and freshness, with an elegant finish.
